What to Drink This Weekend - 08/12/16 - Gruet Sauvage Blanc de Blancs
Sauvage has a nose and palate showing citrus and notes of toasted bread. A touch of honey and baked apple persist with a round, hazelnut finish. A bone dry wine, my tasting note is comparable to one I would write if tasting Champagne.
